With 16 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Mak has built and led Human Resources and Learning & Development functions from the ground up in several multinational hospitality companies. He is an internationally certified HR Consultant and has crafted programs that enhanced the hospitality experience for guests while delivering the desired return on investment for investors.

He believes that every customer interaction is an opportunity to create a memorable experience and in hospitality, it must always be exceptional.

Most recently, he served as Cluster Director of Talent & Culture at Accor, a French multinational operating in more than 110 countries.
